Tube Fed Patients
The torso raising system built into the bed provides significant benefit to patients that require to be tube fed as a result of their condition.
ProBed has made a major breakthrough in the care of these users by introducing new technology that allows the Freedom Bed™ to continue to rotate (and provide pressure relief) with the upper torso raised up to 20° to allow for continuous and unobstructed tube feeding. By combining this elevation with Reverse Trendelenburg tilting and pillows, the patient may be elevated to 30°.
Consult your medical practitioner to determine whether this angle is suitable for you.
